It all started when…

A little over 18 years ago I stumbled upon an idea that evolved into a business that I never imagined launching – a diaper bag company marketed to dads called Diaper Dude. It emerged out of becoming a dad for the first time. What I wanted for my future and what the universe was offering me were two different things. I was inspired to create and launch a business empowering dads to become “hands on” as a father. Who knew a diaper bag could be that powerful. I sure didn’t.

Before I knew it, my company was featured in numerous TV and Print editorials like People Magazine, The Oprah Winfrey Show etc and Diaper Dude soon became a household name. We were a hit among the celebrity crowd and paved the way for new fathers to get involved and fight the stereotype of what it meant to be a dad, in today’s society.

As my company grew, I quickly became the go to dad/parent expert and became passionate about empowering men as they embarked on their new journey into parenting. With the help of my amazing team at Perigee Publishing, my first two books, From Dude To Dad: The Diaper Dude Guide To Pregnancy and Diaper Dude: The Ultimate Dad’s Guide To Surviving The First Two Years became big successes. 

Since then, I have been invited to do national morning segments on parenting and continue to blog on my site on everything from birth to empty nest syndrome. I am currently working on my third book and do private consulting work with a focus on modern parenting.
